Nurses attend to stolen baby; police confirm arrest of woman who snatched him from his grandma

Health personnel at the Karaga District hospital have been up all night since Monday providing much needed medical care to the 2 day-old baby snatched from his grandmother in Tamale. A midwife at the Karaga hospital, Hajia Fati Yakubu together with a medical superintendent provided the necessary me dical care to the baby.

Hajia Fati told Zaa News the baby is responding well to treatment despite the nightmarish experience it went through.

Northern Regional Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Ebenzer Tetteh  who confirmed the arrest of the woman said  she has been interrogated and arrangement have been for her to be transferred to Tamale.
