About 300 Muslim vulnerable women, men, and children in the Greater Accra area have received food relief items. The items were distributed by Baitulmaal USA. The initiative aimed to help needy families during the holy month of Ramadan, a time when Muslims fast from dawn to sunset and focus on prayer, charity, and community support.
Pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers, underprivileged, aged, poor, and needy Muslim families from Nima, Kasoa, Ashaiman and Central Accra received the items.The items distributed include bags of rice, cooking oil, tomato paste, sugar, mackerel, canned fish, beans, salt, soya chunks, macaroni, peanuts, soya milk, and flour.

These items are handed over to beneficiaries to help lessen their financial burden and ensure they have enough food during Ramadan. This program is part of Baitulmaal’s broader mission to provide lifesaving and life-sustaining aid to underserved communities across Africa and the world.
Their efforts focus on providing food security, orphan support, and seasonal assistance.The distribution event was supervised by the Executive Manager of Aldiaa society, Engineer Tarek Halima at Accra, Adenta-lakeside 2026 Ramadan buckets distribution center.
The annual support was meant to reach the vulnerable in the area, especially those struggling with poverty, unemployment, illness, or lack of family support. Many of the recipients expressed deep gratitude after receiving the relief items. For some, the support will make a big difference during the fasting period.
