The Centre for Development and Policy Advocacy (CEDEPA) has been honoured at the 4th Edition of the Ghana Philanthropy Awards, held on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra.
CEDEPA was among sixty civil society organisations (CSOs) from across the country recognised for their contributions to national development. This year’s event brought together leading development practitioners, donors, government representatives, and social impact leaders to celebrate excellence in Ghana’s philanthropic and social sector.

The organisation received the Award for Outstanding Leadership in Policy Advocacy for Social Equity and Development, a recognition of its sustained commitment to promoting a just and inclusive society free from poverty and vulnerability. CEDEPA’s work, driven by research, evidence-based interventions, and impactful policy advocacy, has earned it wide acknowledgment in the development community.
In a statement, CEDEPA dedicated the award to the Almighty God for His guidance and to its Board of Governors, staff, and volunteers for their tireless efforts in advancing the organisation’s mission. The organisation also expressed appreciation to its partners—including fellow CSOs, government ministries, departments and agencies, community leaders, and the media—for their continued collaboration.
A special tribute was paid to CEDEPA’s long-standing partner, Adamfo Ghana, whose loyal support over the past decade has significantly contributed to the organisation’s progress.
CEDEPA further extended gratitude to its beneficiaries, followers, and well-wishers for their unwavering encouragement. The organisation reiterated its commitment to transforming lives and communities through strategic partnerships, donations, and volunteer engagements as it continues to work toward ending poverty and vulnerability in Ghana.
