Northern Regional GES Director Endorses Appointment of Interim Executives for DASA
The Northern Regional Directorate of Education has officially acknowledged the appointment of interim executive members for the Regional Dagbon Students’ Association, DASA.
In a formal communication to the Directorate, the leadership of Regional DASA outlined the new interim team mandated to spearhead the affairs of the association. The new leadership comprises:
- Alhassan Seidu Tia as President
- Abdulai Abdul Wahid as Chief
- Adam Sisu as General Secretary
- Ibrahim Nurudeen as Public Relations Officer
- Prof. Abdul-Razak Abubakari and Mr. Seidu Zakaria as Patrons
According to the Regional Director of Education, Mr. Alhassan Alidu Jnr, the newly appointed executives are expected to promote unity, culture, discipline, and academic excellence among Dagbon students across second-cycle institutions both within and beyond the Northern Region.
Heads of second-cycle institutions have been respectfully requested to offer the necessary support and access to the DASA leadership as they roll out their programs, in line with Ghana Education Service protocols.
The Directorate has called on all stakeholders to extend their cooperation to ensure the success of DASA’s educational and cultural engagements across the region.
This latest development marks a renewed effort to harness the collective potential of Dagbon students while strengthening their sense of identity, discipline, and academic growth.
