Government has assured the people of Mamprugu traditional area that it will do all it can to make their roads accessible.
Roads and highways Minister Mr Kwasi Amoaku- Atta who gave the assurance said better road network in the area will improve the citizens living conditions adding the government is committed in the sector.
The Mamprugu traditional area Mr Amoako-Atta noted has not seen anything yet.
Before the president first term end in 2020, the people of mamprugu will witnesses massive improvement of their roads, the minister told chiefs and people at a darbur held at the forth court the Nayiri palace.
Cataloging work so far in the area, Mr Amoako-Atta said 11.4 million has been earmarked for Nalerigu town roads. The 5 km Walewale township roads which is under construction he said will cost 13.3million cedis.
Work is also ongoing on the Gambaga township roads at the cost of 13.3 Million cedis. All contracts the roads minister explained is expected to within 18 months time (July 2019).
