Gushegu MP Supports 238 Tertiary Students with Fees

The Member of Parliament for Gushegu, Alhaji Alhassan Sulemana Tampuli, has paid the fees of 238 first-year tertiary students from the constituency.

The students are pursuing various programs, including law, medicine, engineering, nursing, agriculture, and teacher training.

The MP has been providing financial support to students in the area for the past four years, with the aim of promoting quality human resource development.

He has committed a total of GHC 216,700 to support the students.

The beneficiaries include: 4 law students, 2 medical students, 3 engineering students, 35 nursing students, 18 agriculture and veterinary students, 61 teacher training college students and 150 non-professional bachelors of science students.

The MP advised the students to take their studies seriously and to empower themselves to be relevant in their chosen fields. He also encouraged them to take up the responsibility of supporting students in the constituency in the future.

“I expect you to take this responsibility of supporting students in Gushegu constituency in five to ten years to time,” Alhaji Tampuli stated.

The President of the Gushegu Students Union expressed gratitude to the MP for believing in them and investing in their future development. The beneficiaries pledged to work hard to excel and make a positive impact in their communities and the nation.

The MP’s support has eased the financial burden on the students and strengthened their confidence and dedication to fulfilling their dreams.

The students’ leader commended the MP for his single effort, which has opened doors that were once beyond their reach and touched countless lives.
