National Chairman of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Freddie Blay says Ghana’s economy is improving under president Nana Addo in spite of the challenges.
The 3 year period of president Nana Addo Mr Blay said has done far better than the 8 years administration of NDC. He challenged the party youth to rededicate themselves to push the party into another four year term.
According to the NPP national chairman, the country stands to lose without NPP being in power. Addressing the youth at its National Youth Conference in Tamale, Mr Blay said he knows that NPP is not best in the world to rule Ghana but that the party has proven that their best alternative to governed Ghana. He told the youth that they cannot afford to let NPP down come 2020 elections.
The government, Mr Blay said, want to improve the quality of life not only for NPP members but for all citizens.
The government he explained is interested in developing industries to provide sustainable jobs through its industrialization programs such as village one dam and one district one factory but not just enlistment of young people into police and immigration He pleaded with the youth to use their youthful exuberance for the benefits of the country.
Mr Blay said the NPP leadership is looking forward to govern Ghana for 24 years and not for 2020 elections
