A ten year old boy, Suleman Haruna has been shot and killed by a 9 year old boy Issifu Haruna at Yapei Yapalisi in the Central Gonja district of the northern region.
The suspect is alleged to have picked a locally manufactured gun which has been cocked by his farther and short Suleman Haruna killing him instantly.
The northern regional police command has since arrested both the suspect and his farther. Preliminary investigation by the police reveals that a misunderstanding ensued between the two children leading to the death of the decease.
Superintendent Alhaji Mahama Arhin is the Northern Regional Crime Officer of the Ghana police Service told Zaa News the farther of the suspect is in police custody for possessing firearm without authority and he is expected to be process for court.
The minor however have been release on police bail to his parents, opinion leaders and the assembly member in the community because of his age.
