Even before assembly members of the Tamale metropolitan assembly confirmed the president nominee, Hannan Gundadow Abdul-Rahaman for the position of Metropolitant Chief Executive of Tamale, congratulation have already started pouring in by youth groups.
Mr Gundadow and few others were nominated in accordance with the 1992 constitution as municipal, metropolitan and district chief executives. The first youth group to congratulate the Tamale mayor nominee is the concern youth of Tamale.
In a statement issued in Tamale and signed by the Chairman Gbewaa Youth, Chief Sibrrir thanked president Mahama for nominating Gundadow, adding it signal yet another faith the president has in the youth in enhancing the better Ghana agenda.
The youth believed Mr Gundadow’s nomination was in furtherance of that of objective and the personal pledge of the president in seeing to transformation of Tamale as a place where business to blossoms.
The statement expressed the hope the appointment of Mr Gundadow will go along to transforming the vision the president into reality.
The concern Tamale youth pledge to support and hope that almighty Allah will grant Mr Gundadow the wisdom and courage to fulfill all the planned projects within the metropolis in his tenure.
