In a significant boost for the youth wing of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Zabzugu Constituency, two of its leading figures have secured strategic appointments within the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) in the Zabzugu District.
The Constituency Youth Organizer, Mr. Imoro Toyibu, popularly known as Commander Toyibu, has been appointed as the YEA District Coordinator, while his Deputy, Hon. Lukman Iddrisu, will now serve as the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer for the district.
The appointments are being hailed as a major victory for the local NDC youth wing and a recognition of the commitment and tireless service of the two leaders to youth empowerment and grassroots mobilization in the constituency.
Reacting to the appointment, the Zabzugu Constituency Deputy Communication Officer, Sapashini Abdul-Raman Kojo, also known as Ramzy, took to his Facebook page to extend his heartfelt congratulations.
“Warm congratulations to our hardworking Zabzugu Constituency NDC Youth Organizer, Commander Toyibu, on your appointment as the Zabzugu District YEA Coordinator! 🎉
This is a well-deserved recognition of your dedication and service to the youth of our constituency. We pray that Almighty Allah grants you wisdom, strength, and guidance to excel in this new role and uplift the youth of Zabzugu.” He wrote on his Facebook account.
Also sharing his excitement on the Zabzugu Caucus WhatsApp platform, Mr. Imoro Nuhumanu wrote:

In addition, a popular youth figure in the constituency, affectionately known as Butcher, directed his congratulatory message to Hon. Lukman Iddrisu, praising his new role:
“Big congratulations to Mr. Lukman Iddrisu on your appointment as Monitoring and Evaluation Officer for Zabzugu District YEA.
You’ve made the youth proud. We trust in your ability to deliver and raise the bar even higher!”
The appointments are expected to bring renewed energy to the YEA’s operations in the district. Many believe the duo’s deep-rooted connection to local youth will enhance impactful programming and responsive service delivery.
The Youth Employment Agency plays a pivotal role in tackling youth unemployment through skills training, job placement, and entrepreneurship support across Ghana.
