The Nanumba-North District pastor of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church Ghana, Rev Ferguson Nena Quarcoo has called on Christians to put their trust in God rather than political parties.
Pastor Nena Quarcoo made the call during a three-day annual youth sensitization programme organised by the church at Gulnyansi in the Nanumba north district, which ended on Sunday.
The pastor spoke on the theme: “Have Faith in the Lord”. He entreated the congregation to be courageous and faithful in every circumstance in their in lives because it is only God who can solve all their problems. He reminded christians that no political party can solve the problems in Ghana.
The programme brought together participants from seventeen (17) societies across the district to engage in various activities such as health talks and screening, football match, bible quiz, and drama.
The chaplain of the Evangelical Presbyterian College of Education in Bimbilla, Pastor Rev N. D Bindati cautioned parents to take proper care of their children and bring them up in the fear of God, since they’re the future leaders.
