At least six people have been confirmed dead in a head-on collision on the Tamale -Kumbungu road on Saturday morning. The over Six died as a result of being trapped and burnt in one of the taxi with registration number GE 7496 Y using LPG gas. Eye witness say the two cabs were over speeding on a dusting road which is under construction.
Four occupants in a taxi with registration number GR 4860 U have been rushed to the Tamale Teaching Hospital.
It's clear the total number of people occupying the two taxi because drivers along the road often overload passages.
Personnel of the Ghana National Fire Service arrive scene and the Ghana National Ambulance service are at the scene trying to remove the remains of the passengers.
