The First Lady of the Republic of Ghana, Her Excellency Mrs. Lordina Mahama, has donated 102 metallic dual desks to the Ghana Senior High School (GHANASCO) in Tamale.
The Mayor of Tamale, Abubakari Adam Takoro, presented the desks on her behalf, fulfilling an appeal made by the school during the launch of its 65th Anniversary Celebration in May this year.
Receiving the donation, Headmaster Mr. Douglas Haruna expressed profound gratitude to the First Lady, describing the gesture as timely support to improve teaching and learning.
“I’m very excited to receive this furniture. I knew this day would come because H.E. Lordina Mahama always comes to our aid whenever we face a challenge,” he said.
