The Domestic Violence and Victims Support Unit (DOVVSU) of the Ghana Police Service in the Northern Region has brought 38-year-old Vida Golomesio, the woman who alleged snatched a 2 day old baby boy, back to Tamale.
Golomesio who is currently being held by DOVVSU for interrogation is yet to be charged for the unlawfully possession of a baby that obviously wasn’t hers.
DOVVSU Regional Coordinator, Mr Emmanuel Horatu who confirmed the arrival of the suspected baby thief to Zaa News said initial investigations by the police suggest that she might be a relative of the baby’s family.
The lingering questions on the minds of residents are the motivation and reasons behind the act.
