Tamale residents throng free spinal screening organized by Zaa Radio in collaboration with Spinal Clinic
As part of its corporate social responsibility, Zaa Radio in collaboration with the Tamale Spinal Clinic organized a three-day spinal health screening for the general public in Tamale. The exercise which recorded high turnouts kicked off last Thursday and climaxed on Saturday.
The exercise included computerized digitized scanning of the spine, bilateral weight distribution, scales to determine muscular imbalances of the spine, and checking blood pressure with a discount consultation fee of 20 Ghana cedis instead of 50 cedis. The Tamale branch manager of the Spinal Clinic, Adam Soale, at the weekend, spoke to Zaa News on the essence of protecting one’s spine.
On his part, the General Manager of Zaa Radio, Zakaria Alidu said the core mandate of the station, in line with journalistic standards, is not only to entertain but to educate and inform the masses on issues affecting them.
Mr Alidu, again, reiterated that such an exercise was timely and meant for all and sundry because the name, Zaa Radio, literally means All Inclusive Radio.
