An 80 year old woman has died of COVID 19 in Tamale, Northern regional health director, Dr. Eleeza has confirmed. Northern region recorded three new cases over the weekend the regional health director has said. According to him, the deceased is part of three new cases recorded in the region.
Meanwhile management of facilities where health workers of Tamale Teaching Hospital staff and foreigners were quarantined separately are chasing the regional health directorate for their payment.
Confirming it to Zaa news, Dr. Eleeza said government owe the facility where the TTH staff were quarantine over 250,000 Ghana cedis.
The bills he said has since been compiled and sent to the Northern regional minister’s office to be sent to Accra.
Total number of cases in Northern region stands at 19, 12 recoveries and 1 death.
