Faith Group of Companies has commissioned two boreholes at the Dakpema Palace and Nalung Fong in the Tamale Metropolis as part of efforts to improve access to potable water.
The company also commissioned its new corporate office and a hostel facility in Tamale, describing the developments as significant milestones in its growth and expansion.
The two boreholes are expected to improve access to potable water for residents, visitors to the Dakpema Palace and the people of Nalung Fong.
Speaking at the ceremony on behalf of the Mayor of Tamale, Abdul Mutalib Zakaria commended the Chief Executive Officer and management of Faith Group of Companies for their resilience and commitment to business growth.
He noted that the company’s expansion had contributed to job creation, providing employment opportunities for hundreds of residents in the Tamale Metropolis.
Mr Zakaria urged other entrepreneurs to emulate the example of Faith Group of Companies by investing in businesses that create employment while contributing to the development of their communities.
The Dakpema of Tamale also commended the company for its contribution to job creation and development in the metropolis.
He called on residents to support Faith Group of Companies and other indigenous businesses to enable them to grow and make greater contributions to the development of Tamale.
Delivering the keynote address, the Chief Executive Officer of Faith Group of Companies, David Owusu Yentumi, said the commissioning marked a celebration of the company’s vision, hard work, resilience, teamwork and faith in God.
He said the company was established with a vision to provide quality products and reliable services while creating employment opportunities and contributing to community development.
Mr Yentumi acknowledged that the company had faced challenges, including changing market conditions and operational difficulties, but said determination, teamwork, perseverance and faith in God had enabled the business to continue its growth.
He described the new corporate office as more than just a physical structure, saying it symbolised the company’s commitment to building a stronger, more organised and sustainable institution.
According to him, the facility would provide a platform for improved coordination, better management and stronger engagement with customers, business partners and other stakeholders.
Mr Yentumi stressed that the company’s success would not be measured solely by financial growth, but also by its impact on employment creation, customer satisfaction, community development and responsible business practices.
He expressed appreciation to customers, business partners, suppliers, management and staff for their contributions to the company’s growth, while also acknowledging the support of traditional and religious leaders, government representatives and other stakeholders.
Looking ahead, the CEO reaffirmed the company’s commitment to continuous improvement, investment in its workforce, the adoption of better systems and technology, and the provision of quality products and services.
