The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Youth Wing Campaign Team successfully engaged Artisan Masters in the Kukpaligu electoral area, fostering a platform for interaction, discussion, and idea-sharing. Led by Youth Commander Imoro Toyibu, Deputy Communication Officer Ramzy Ramzy, and former Party Secretary Hon. Shahadu Bawa, the meeting took place in Kukpaligu township.
The meeting aimed to mobilize support for the party in its endeavor to win power from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the upcoming December 7, 2024, Parliamentary and Presidential Polls.
This effort is part of the NDC’s broader strategy to enhance grassroots support, as seen in the launch of several NDC Constituency Youth Wing Working Committees and Welfare Schemes.
The team appreciated the efforts of local youth organizers, particularly Nuru Frank, for their active participation and support from the artisan community.
Youth Commander Imoro Toyibu appealed to the artisans to set aside tribal politics and focus on the NDC’s vision for the country, especially in addressing unemployment challenges faced by the youth population in the Zabzugu Constituency.
“It’s not about Hon. Alhassan Umar, aka Abaako, nor the Constituency Executives alone, but about the NDC in the area and how we can help NDC get majority MPs in the next Parliament. Let’s vote for Hon. Abaako – ‘Zu’ and John Dramani Mahama – ‘Za’ come December 7th, 2024,” he emphasized.
Imoro Toyibu pledged to collaborate with all youth groups to secure victory for the NDC, recognizing the significant contributions of past prominent personalities, including the late Alhaji Amadu Sonaa, Alhaji Adam Zagbang, Alhaji Zibilila, Hajia Barikisu Munkaila, and the late Hajia Umu-Khaila Sulemana.
“It is now our turn as the youth to make history by securing a massive win for the NDC in the 2024 Parliamentary and Presidential Polls,” he urged.
This engagement reflects the NDC Youth Wing’s commitment to grassroots mobilization and inclusive politics, aligning with the party’s aims and objectives.
