A group calling itself Alliance for northern pride is set to hit the streets to demonstrate over the comments made by Agric Minister last week.
The group is made up of various political parties and chiefs in the North.
The group described the comments by the minister about the success of the government’s flagship program, Planting for food and Jobs as disrespectful and therefore must resign from his position.
The march dubbed “March of dignity” with the hash tag “agric minister must go” is set to come off on Saturday, November 9 in Tamale.
Speaking on Zaa major news, convener of the march, Abdul Malik Bansintale noted, Saturday’s march will be done across all the five regions of the North.
