MP trained women constituents in soap making
The Member of Parliament for the Sagnarigu Constituency Alhaji A.B.A Fuseini has assisted 200 selected women across the constituency to benefit from soap making training. The women, were trained on how to make liquid soap and parazon powder.
The training forms part of A.B.A Fuseini’s quest to economically empower women in the constituency who are largely rural, through innovative training to bring real change to their socio-economic lives.
Citizens in the Sagnarigu Municipality, especially rural dwellers and women have especially been marginalized from the fruits of economic prosperity, a situation which has had adverse effects on their lives.
To improve employment opportunities, Alhaji A.B.A Fuseini contracted Global Ladies to provide the skills training to serve as an income generating venture to make them self-reliant and adequately fend for themselves and their families.
The NDC Women Organizer for the Sagnarigu Constituency Hajia Rakiya Haruna commended Alhaji A.B.A Fuseini for his continues support to women in the area and pledged their support for his re-elecion bid.
A trainer from Global Ladies, Alhassan Kisma also urged the women to make good use of the skills they have acquired indicating, a little as 38 Ghana cedis is needed as start-up capital for their enterprises.
