Ghanaian International: Abdul Malik Abubakari Donates to Boyhood Club in Tamale

Tamale, Ghana – Ghanaian international footballer, Abdul Malik Abubakari, popularly known as Gaúcho, has made a generous donation to his boyhood club, Young Republicans, in a heartwarming display of commitment to his roots.

According to Halid Prince Mukadi, a sports journalist, reporter, and presenter from Zaa Multimedia, who witnessed the donation, Abdul Malik presented the club with 15 sets of jerseys, 30 sets of boots, 5 sets of
hand gloves, and 17 sets of footballs during a visit to the club.

“I was honoured to be present when Abdul Malik made the donation,” said Halid Prince Mukadi. “It was clear that he is deeply committed to giving back to his community and supporting the development of
young football talent in the North.”

During the visit, Abdul Malik also offered words of encouragement to the young players, expressing his gratitude for their support and prayers. “I am truly thankful for your unwavering support and
prayers,” he said. “I am confident that through perseverance and rigorous training, you will attain your goals.”

Abdul Malik also revealed plans to upgrade the club’s pitch to AstroTurf, a project he hopes to undertake when feasible.

Coach Dawuo, who accepted the donations on behalf of the club, praised Abdul Malik’s humility and commitment to the team. “We are delighted to have your ongoing support for our young players,” he said. “We pray for your continued prosperity, as you have been an integral part
of our team. Your humility and respect have been instrumental in your
growth.”

Coach Dawuo also thanked the media for their support, concluding with a blessing, “May God bless you richly.”

Abdul Malik’s donation is a testament to his dedication to giving back to his community and supporting the development of young football talent in the North.
