Cassona Global Imaging and Mindray Train UDS Medical Students on Advanced Ultrasound Technology

In collaboration with Mindray, a leading manufacturer of ultra-modern X-ray machines, the company recently organized a specialized training session for medical students from the University for Development Studies (UDS) in Tamale. The training, held on March 27, 2025, focused on ultrasound machines’ importance and advanced technological applications.

During the training, specialists guided the students through the latest advancements in ultrasound technology, particularly its applications in gynecology. Speaking at the event, Madam Gladys Tetteh, Sales Leader of Cassona Global Imaging, emphasized the company’s dedication to engaging stakeholders in the health sector. She highlighted the critical role of radiologists and sonographers in improving healthcare delivery and reiterated Cassona’s intention to expand its presence in Tamale by establishing ultra-modern diagnostic centers. She noted that this initiative would improve access to high-quality imaging services and contribute to the training of healthcare professionals in the Northern Region.
The Head of the Medical Imaging Department at UDS, Dr. Abdulai Nasherudeen, expressed gratitude to Cassona Global Imaging and Midray for their support.
