Respected public servant, entrepreneur, youth advocate, and dedicated National Democratic Congress (NDC) stalwart, Yobat Bagbin, popularly known as Ras Ghandi, has officially declared his intention to contest for the position of Constituency Chairman of the NDC in the Bunkpurugu Constituency, subject to the lifting of the party’s ban on internal campaign activities.
Ras Ghandi currently serves as the District Manager of the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) for the Bunkpurugu/Yunyoo Scheme, where he has distinguished himself through professionalism, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to quality public service. He also serves as the Deputy Constituency Secretary of the NDC in Bunkpurugu, a role in which he has consistently demonstrated loyalty, discipline, and dedication to strengthening the party at the grassroots.
Beyond public service and politics, Ras Ghandi is a successful businessman and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ras Villa, Grills and Pub, a popular hospitality establishment located in Bunkpurugu.
