The General Secretary of the Ruling National Democratic Congress, Johnson Asiedu Nketia warned the people of the northern region to beware of politicians who are palming vicious stories about the president and leader of the NDC John Dramani Mahama.
He said this year’s election is the time for the northern region after 56 years of independence in Ghana and that in fairness per the Ghana’s constitution there should be a regional balance.
General mosquito was speaking at the inauguration of the Foreign Affairs Minister and the NDC parliamentary candidate for the Kumbungu constituency Alhaji Mohammed Mumuni at Kumbungu.
On euthenics tribal politics, General mosquito said it is only the NDC that has raised above all ethnic and tribal sentiment in Ghana’s political history.
Johnson Asiedu Also warned the people of the north to be aware about politicians who are bent of dividing the north and creating division among the rank and file of the NDC.
The parliamentary candidate who is also the foreign affairs Minister Alhaji Mohammed Mumuni said the people of the Kumbungu have decided long ago to strike a strategic relation with the NDC party because of its development agenda.
Alhaji Mumuni said the people of Kumbungu were thankful to the NDC government for creation of the new district and that the people in the constituency would continue to support the party. He mentioned alleviation of schools under threes, construction of GETFUND schools and the award of contract of the Kumbungu-Tamale road as some of government developmental projects in the area.]]>
